A new resource is available for the Indie Theater community.
The League of Independent Theatre is pleased to announce the official launch of the website, indietheaternyc.com.
The newly unveiled site features a contemporary design and a comprehensive array of information pertaining to the vibrant world of Indie Theater. During discussions with LIT Managing Director Aimee Todoroff, new Board Member Montserrat Mendez expressed a heartfelt desire to revive a cherished aspect of the past which he felt was instrumental to bringing the community together, Matin Denton's website, nytheatre.com.
After obtaining Martin Denton's approval but with encouragement that this needed to be a more specific endeavor, it was unanimously decided that the new platform, designed to foster dialogue about all facets of indie theater, would be named indietheaternyc.com
Key features of the website include:
A dynamic search bar for show listings and
An expansive collection of resources and ideas sharing platforms
Thoughtfully curated articles crafted by indie theater makers, catering specifically to their community
Enhanced user interface for a seamless browsing experience
A comprehensive resources section tailored for theater makers across the city and neighboring boroughs
This innovative online platform underscores our unwavering commitment to providing a space for the NYC indie theater community to flourish and foster stronger connections.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the website over the next few weeks, currently in its early design stages, and actively participate in its evolution.
The initial beta test and early run of the website will be run by Montserrat Mendez of The MozzleStead Company for the League of Independent Theater.
