#CitySpaces
From the League of Independent Theater's Performing Arts Platform:
2. Create access to empty and unused City property to be re-purposed as temporary rehearsal, office and (if appropriate), performance space.
Great news - this proposal will be proposed in front of City Council soon.
On August 22nd, 2016, Councilman Ben Kallos announced legislation, co-sponsored by Councilmembers Van Bramer, Cumbo, and Rosenthal, to enable arts organizations to search for city-owned property to rent for rehearsal or performance space.
But we need your help.
